[August 28/06]

I heard about you from my good friend Johnny Mannion.  He played at your fest this year, and can't stop talking about it.   As a 40 year blues guitar player in the USA, I was raised by a Baptist Deacon, and played off an on in black gospel groups.  My first love is blues, but hate many of the places you have to go to play it, you know dives.
Anyway, I thought I'd write and tell you what a great job you are doing, and this is much needed ministry that I pray will flourish, and grow.   Check out my web site at www.mikedollins.biz   God bless, Mike Dollins, Arkansas USA

[August 17/05]

Hello All,
I had intended to make contact sooner but I must admit that when I got home Sunday evening I collapsed into a state of bliss and exhaustion. It took me all day Monday to clean, reorganize, and put my amps and other gear away. I have already been in contact with Larry Howard and we are working toward building amps for his music ministry ( Maximum Security Sound) at Angloa prison. This may just be the start of a much bigger ministry.
I had huge expectations for the B2B fest and was not disappointed. I was used to minister to one person particularly and was ministered to greatly in an area that has been hard for me to deal with. I am honoured to be involved in such a movement of God, with such Godly men working together to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ. I have been blessed by your  encouragement and example. Next year will be even better!
Saturday we are playing at a "pig roast" on some property in Ferndale. I told them that I have some brothers and sisters in Canada that play some good Gospel Blues. We are going to pray about ( and hopefully organize) a smaller version of the B2B blues fest in Ferndale next year with local ( as in Washington and BC) blues bands at his place. My family has been enriched and enlarged since being brought together with you all.
Praise God!!

Barry and I just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed participating in the festival again this year. And I know Gene, David Buzza (drums) and Rick Meadows (guitar etc.) feel the same. We appreciate all the time and effort and financial commitment that it takes to put on such an event.

We heard many positive comments, so I know a lot of people were blessed by the music. We could really feel the presence of God. Glen Kaiser, Darrell Mansfield and Larry Howard were amazing. His words were as powerful as his music!

I know God's purpose for my life is to sing praises to Him so I will do it whenever and wherever I can.

Thanks again for inviting us to be a part of such an awesome event!

My husband won 4 weekend passes to last yrs B2B Festival.. What an incredible weekend.. The music, Food, People & the fellowship time we had was a weekend I will never forget.. We took our Son and his GF who was 8 months pregnant at the time..and has since given birth to a beautiful little Girl... They thoroughly enjoyed themselves; I don't think our sons GF has ever experienced anything quite like it before...

We will be back this Year.. RAIN Or Shine... but oh Lord we are praying for the sun to shine on us again... God Bless and thank you to all those involved to making this event possible...

Hey Murray, Judy, Carey, Jeff, Lando, and everyone else:)  What a fabulous time we all had at the Back To The Blues Festival and I just want to say thanks for all your hard work and tireless efforts in making it happen.  I know it aint easy and if anything a very tiring and sometimes unappreciated process.  Personally it was very gratifying and meeting great people like your family, Big John, Jeff, Lee, Dan and other Christian Bikers.....Shannon is somone I will be getting in touch with and will be a new client at some point.  I know the boys in the band were ministered to and God touched their hearts.  I look forward to coming back out Brother.

I mentioned to Carey as he (what a help he was!) taking us out to the airport that the cheque was off by 400.00.  It was agreed for 2000.00 for the five of us and then an addition of 400.00 for Amoy Levy and then the additional 1000.00 for the 2nd gig.  Just clarifying it, if needed.  Actually I had thought the gst was supposed to be added, but I will not worry about that, but would appreciate your sending the 400.00 cheque to HIS House Records, 5545 Walkers Line, R.R.2 Stn. Main, Milton On. L9T 2X6

Thanks again and God bless
