Win a Trimmed & Burnin' Guitar!

Hello, we are Shannon Coberly (father) and Eli Coberly (Son) of Trimmed And Burnin Amps/Guitars. It has been my pleasure to be involved as a sponsor and part of the “organization team” for Back2Blues Fest for the last Three years.

Last year in 2007 I decided to build a special guitar to donate to the cause and offer it for raffle. It was a huge success so TnB’n will be doing this every year as long as the Back2Blues Fest is in operation.

This years Back2Blues Guitar (B2B’s #2) is very different from last years Resolectric. This years guitar is made from a single piece of 800 year old Cedar Burl that was cut in Washington State in the early 1970’s. This is a rare use of this wood and very hard to come by.

Here are a few pictures to show various stages of the build. At this time B2B’s #2 is in the capable hands of Marty Knapp of Knappster Guitars for a Nitro Lacquer finish. The wood is very old so we’re going “old school” for the finish.
